Research & Development
This is an integral part of our Teaching School Alliance work and we are keen to promote practitioner based research on our partnership of schools. To this end we are funding a number of R&D bursaries so that colleagues in our schools can find the time and resources to carry out this work. We have a number of case studies of projects from previous years and are hoping for another round of high quality submissions in our next round which is now open please see details below.
There are 8 secondary school bursaries of £300 available for distribution.
Applications for funding are encouraged to carry out a successful Action Research project or piece of classroom based research development. This should be a new initiative that has not already been completed and embedded in school.
Some suggested activities may be:
- Improving the engagement of boys
- How to use TAs effectively in the classroom
- How to move A to A*
- Improving progress for pupil premium students
Schools may apply for a bursary of up to a maximum of £300.
Successful applicants will be required to complete a Case Study proforma which will be published on the Salop Teaching School Alliance Website. On receipt of the Case Study and an invoice payments will then be issued.
