An understanding of cognitive load theory that has the potential to allow us to modify teaching and learning strategies to maximise long term memory and recall – highlighted by the new Ofsted EIF as ‘learning’

Course Overview:

This session will provide an overview of the CLT and outline a series of curriculum and classroom strategies to avoid cognitive overload and maximise effective recall.

The session will also consider how we can share effective curriculum progression models with learners to support them in developing and connecting concepts and schemata.
