Programme Overview

 

Full day Planning and Preparation time in School (6 hours)

Reviewers planning and preparation to develop a better understanding othcontexothschool being reviewed,its pupil premiuprofile anthspecific challenges it faces in improving outcomefodisadvantagepupils. Once this initial picturhabeeformed,a discussiowith the Headteacher and key leaders ofthe schoobeing revieweto enable both partieto check their understandingfill angaps in knowledganask anquestionthemahave.

Full day School Visit (6 hours)

Producing aactioplan taking an evidence based approach.  The plan tincluda clear executivsummar anlist oactions which will improvthschools strategy for pupil premium funding and impact positively on outcomefodisadvantaged pupils. The plashould build othschools self-evaluation, anidentifcleamilestones,responsible individuals, success criteria anaccountabilities.  Visits may include observing teaching and learning and discussion with leaders and individual leaders who are in a position to make the greatest impact on improving outcomes for disadvantage pupils.

Half a day Report & Evaluation (3 hours) - 2—6 months later

This is an opportunity for the reviewer and school to evaluate the progress made and the emerging evidence of impact.  The reviewer and school may adapt the plan accordingly, to ensure that the school’s strategy is as effective as possible.

Dates & Times - Will be confirmed with the school after registration on the programme

Fee:  £1,000 for 2.5 days review
